NES related question!

Can anyone tell me the exact limitations of the NES in terms of sprites, colors, and whatnot? Graphic examples such as charts, gridded layouts, and palettes would be much welcomed.

I'm looking into doing the 8-bit collaboration, and possibly more sprites beyond that, and I want to get a feel for the kinds of limits I'd have to place myself under.

Nice pixel art! I also noticed that you're a fan of Morrigan and Felicia which is very awesome ^-^! I think you mean "Super Street Fighter II Turbo", not "Marvel vs. Capcom 2", when talking about the HD Remix. But that's minor nitpicking. If it means getting Darkstalkers some much-deserved attention, sign me up.
